Watch: Nitin Gadkari falls ill on stage in Siliguri; blood sugar levels dropped!
Nitin Gadkari, a minister for the Union, became seriously ill while in North Bengal. The moment he left the stage, he felt sick. He had been brought a doctor through the green corridor. Nitin arrived on Thursday to lay the foundation of a long road connecting Sevak's Cantonment in Siliguri to Shiv Mandir in that city. The Dagapur Ground, close to Darjeeling Junction, hosted the event. On stage, the Union Minister was uncomfortable. Thus, the event was abruptly stopped. He went to the green room to rest. But as he sat in the green room, he reportedly grew more dizzy.
The Union Minister's blood sugar level has dropped, according to party sources. Saline has been provided as per the doctor's recommendation. In the green room, the minister received first aid.
