Bhadradri Kothagudem Police defused landmine planted by maoists on "Vaddipeta-Poosukuppa"

In the Bhadradri Kothagudem district, a landmine left by Maoists on the 'Vaddipeta-Poosukuppa' route outside of Cherlamandalam was discovered. A 15-kg landmine had been placed on the road when the police arrived at the scene following a tip. With the aid of the bomb squad, they deactivated it right away.

In addition to the SPs and OSDs of Bhadradri Kothagudem, the top brass of the State intelligence, Greyhounds, and other senior police officers have apparently been preparing for a potential maoist attack. Its goals are to make anti-Maoist operations more effectively coordinated and to guarantee Maoist cadre's surrender.
