29 Army Dog unit pays rich tribute to elite Indian Army assault Dog ‘Zoom’
Canine Warrior Zoom, who was gravely hurt on October 10 (Monday) during an operation at Tangpawa in South Kashmir's Anantnag region, received a heartfelt tribute from the Indian Army on Friday (October 14).
Today in Jammu, the 29 Army Dog Unit sent Indian Army Dog "Zoom" a tearful farewell.
On behalf of all ranks of the Chinar Corps, BB Cantt, Lt Gen ADS Aujla, GOC Chinar Corps, performed a sorrowful ceremony at the Chinar War Memorial to honour the valiant soldier.
Zoom was instrumental in not only pinpointing the exact location of the terrorists during the operation in Anantnag on October 10, but also in taking out one of them.
