Meet Zoom, Army's brave assault Dog who continued to fight despite bullet injuries
Zoom, a courageous assault dog, assisted the Army in eliminating two militants in the Anantnag district of Jammu and Kashmir despite taking two gunshot wounds, according to sources.
The mission was to clear the home where the militants were hiding. Zoom, who has participated in numerous active operations in south Kashmir, was given the assignment.
The dog recognised them during the operation and attacked them, but was gravely wounded after taking two gunshots. Zoom continued to battle them despite being wounded, which led to the deaths of two extremists.
Zoom was taken to the Army Veterinary Hospital, where the dog is currently receiving care..
