Former Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad launches new party 'Democratic Azad Party'
Jammu: Former senior Congress leader Ghulam Nabi Azad announced the name of his new party during a press conference held on Monday. He announced his party name as Democratic Azad Party and unveiled a three-coloured secular flag. It is known that Ghulam Nazi Azad tendered his resignation to Congress on August 26.
Speaking to the media, the senior politician said that they scrutinised 1500 names received by the party workers from across the nation. He added that he wants a name in Hindustani which could be understood by the people. He further added that they finalised this name.
