CID registered case on false publicity going on about MP Gorantla Madhav video issue
In response to a complaint that a morphing video was produced and shared on social media in reference to YSRCP MP Gorantla Madhav, the CID has opened an investigation. Charges of criminal conspiracy and forgery were brought against the I.T.D.P. official social media account, accounts connected to Telugudesam WhatsApp group with UK phone numbers, and electronic media social media accounts. Police have filed a case under Section 66C of the IT Act, which includes numerous IPC offences, in response to a complaint made by Gorantla Madhav.
The National and State Women's Commissions have asked the DGP to launch an extensive investigation into the MP Gorantla Madhav video call with a woman when he was reportedly nude. The DGP's office received a complaint from female party leaders of all opposition parties to open a case over this occurrence. However, no case or investigation has yet been made.
