Pilot of airplane circling Mississippi city in US threatens to crash into Walmart store
Cops claim the pilot of a tiny plane that was making a Saturday morning circle over a Mississippi city threatened to hit a Walmart. The Walmart and an adjacent convenience shop have been evacuated, according to a Facebook post from the Tupelo Police Department. Around five in the morning, the plane began circling, and it was still there more than three hours later.
The police said they have spoken with the pilot directly. According to the police, until an all-clear signal is given, residents are requested to stay away from that area.
The pilot also threatened to purposely crash into Wal-Mart on West Main, according to the concerned authorities.
