Assam: Police arrested a person after he dressed up as Lord Shiva to enact to street play on the roads against the Modi government for increasing fuel prices. According to the reports, the person identified as Birinchi Bora from Nagaon in Assam draped himself as Lord Shiva and a female actress Parishimita as Goddess Parvathi and he was seen riding a motorcycle.
The vehicle stopped on the street and a conversation took place between Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvathi over increasing fuel prices under the Modi government. The police arrested the person after receiving a complaint from Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bajrang Dal, BJYM and other Hindu groups alleging he for hurting religious sentiments and using religion for political purposes.
