Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan has addressed letters to all Union Territories and States suggesting that the covid-19 procedures be resumed in light of the global increase in covid cases. He has instructed them to follow and embrace an emphasis on testing, tracking, and treating well in advance in order to minimise last-minute risk. He has suggested vaccinations, demonstrated acceptable behaviour, and informed them of all other health concerns. The decision was made in response to an increase in resurgent covid cases in Europe and certain areas of Asia. Germany, France, the United Kingdom, and Italy are now posing a threat to citizens, with the number of cases growing at an alarming rate.
