Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief Chandrababu Naidu today contacted Dwarka Tirumala Rao, the Managing Director of Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC). With polling scheduled tomorrow in Andhra Pradesh, Naidu requested the deployment of special buses to facilitate voters traveling back to their hometowns in large numbers.

Highlighting the need for additional transportation, Naidu emphasized that many residents currently in neighboring states for employment, education, or business are returning to their native places to vote. He specified the necessity of operating extra buses, particularly from major cities like Hyderabad, Chennai, and Bangalore, where a significant number of voters reside.

Moreover, Naidu suggested arranging special buses from major towns within the state to various districts, ensuring that voters can reach their polling stations conveniently. This initiative aims to support the democratic process by providing accessible transportation options for the electorate.
