14-Day Judicial Custody for Suspect in CM Jagan's Stone Attack Case

On April 13, an incident involving a stone attack on Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy occurred in Vijayawada. Following an investigation, the police arrested one individual in connection to the case. Today, the accused was presented before the Vijayawada court, where the judge ordered a 14-day remand for the suspect, effective until May 2, as announced by the Principal Junior Civil Judge of Vijayawada.

During the court proceedings, there was a debate regarding the suspect's date of birth. The defense argued that the suspect was a minor, based on the Aadhaar card information. However, the court decided to consider the date of birth certificate provided by the municipal department.
