TS budget stands at Rs.115,689 Cr
Hyderabad, March 11, 2015: Telangana Finance Minister Etela Rajender has allotted Rs.4250 Cr for farmers' loan waiver in the 2015-16 general budget introduced by him in the assembly on Wednesday. He allotted Rs.250 Cr for green house agriculture and Rs.200 Cr for drip irrigation. In the budget worth Rs. 115,689 Cr, Rs.52,383 Cr constituted plan expenditure and Rs.63,306 Cr non-plan expenditure. While the revenue surplus was shown as Rs.531 Cr, fiscal deficit was put Rs.16, 969 Cr. When the Finance Minister finished his budget speech, Speaker Madhusudhana Chari adjourned the session for next Friday.
