KCR Announces BRS Candidate for Secunderabad Cantonment By-Election

Hyderabad: In the upcoming by-election for the Secunderabad Cantonment Assembly constituency, Niveditha, the daughter of the late MLA Sayanna, has been declared as the candidate for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS). This announcement was made by the party leader and former Chief Minister KCR on Wednesday, following discussions with key party leaders and local representatives.
The need for a by-election arose following the untimely demise of Sayanna's eldest daughter, Lasya Nanditha, in a recent road accident. Lasya Nanditha, having won the 2023 Assembly elections, tragically lost her life in the accident. In light of these events, KCR has once again shown favor towards Sayanna's family by nominating another member for the electoral contest.
