A Telugu doctor, who went trekking in Australia, tragically lost her life after slipping and falling into a gorge due to an accident. Ujwala Vemuru (23), hailing from Krishna district, had completed her MBBS at Bond University in Gold Coast, Australia. Ujwala's parents, Vemuru Maithili and Venkateshwar Rao, have been settled in Australia for several years. Becoming a doctor was Ujwala's childhood dream. She was currently working at the Royal Brisbane Women's Hospital and aimed to reach higher positions by pursuing postgraduate studies.

On the 2nd of this month, Ujwala went trekking with friends for leisure when she accidentally slipped and fell into a gorge, leading to her untimely death. Her aspiration to achieve a high status in life ended unexpectedly, filling her family with profound grief. For the funeral, her mortal remains are being brought to her grandparents' home in Elukapadu, Unguturu Mandal.
