GVL Clarifies on BJP's Strategy for Andhra Pradesh Elections

In Andhra Pradesh, while there is an alliance between TDP and Janasena, today, both parties have announced their first list of candidates. TDP and Janasena are hopeful of including BJP in their alliance. In this context, BJP Rajya Sabha member GVL Narasimha Rao made interesting comments. He disclosed that there have been no instructions from the BJP central leadership regarding seat sharing in Andhra Pradesh.

Today, a meeting of the BJP Central Election Committee was held in Delhi, attended by election committees from all states.

Speaking after the meeting, GVL stated that the meeting was conducted in preparation for the upcoming elections and to decide on how to proceed in the elections in Andhra Pradesh. He clarified that the BJP high command will make the decisions regarding this. He also mentioned that on February 27th, Union Minister Rajnath Singh will be visiting the state and will participate in meetings of three parliamentary clusters on the same day.
