CM Jagan releases funds for 'YSR Kalyanamasthu' and 'YSR Shadi Tofa'

Amaravati: Chief Minister Jagan has released the fifth installment of funds for 'YSR Kalyanamasthu' and 'YSR Shadi Tofa'. By pressing a button, he transferred the funds into the bank accounts of the mothers of the brides. A financial assistance of Rs. 78.53 crores was provided under 'YSR Kalyanamasthu' and 'YSR Shadi Tofa' to 10,132 eligible couples who got married during the October-December 2023 quarter. The money was credited into the bank accounts of the mothers of the brides.
Speaking on the occasion, Jagan said that thanks to divine grace, another good initiative is taking place today. He mentioned that in order to encourage the education of poor children, it has been mandated that both the bride and the groom must have completed at least 10th grade.
He emphasized that education has the power to change our fate and future. He stated that the ability to change our destinies lies in our hands. Jagan expressed that the government stands in support of poor parents to educate their children and conduct their marriages with dignity.
