As the upcoming parliamentary elections approach, leaders from various parties are showing keen interest in contesting. Especially in Telangana, with the Congress party in power, many are ready to enter the fray for the Lok Sabha elections. The Congress party has already started accepting applications from hopefuls wishing to contest from the 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana.
In this sequence, Nandini, the wife of Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, has applied for the Khammam MP seat. Prominent film producer Bandla Ganesh has applied to contest from the Malkajgiri constituency. For the Secunderabad seat, Ravinder Goud and Venugopal Swamy have submitted their applications.
