JD Lakshminarayana stated on Wednesday that Andhra Pradesh has a significant opportunity to achieve special status. He called upon political leaders to make good use of this opportunity presented in the form of budget sessions in the Parliament. He urged the Members of Parliament to demand the fulfillment of the promises made during the state's bifurcation and to immediately declare special status for Andhra Pradesh. He suggested that by obstructing the 'Vote on Budget' introduced by the central government, special status could be achieved.

JD Lakshminarayana demanded that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu demonstrate their commitment to the issue of special status for the state by preventing the 'Vote on Budget' from passing in the Parliament.

Under the auspices of the 'Special Status Achievement Committee', JD Lakshminarayana, the President of the Jai Bharat Party, staged a one-day protest near the Gandhi statue in the Two Town area of Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. He called upon the people to support this protest. He also demanded the central government to immediately implement the promises made during the state division.
