Chandranna Sankranti gift given to 1.3 Cr beneficiaries

Tirumala, Jan 14, 2015: AP Information and IT Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy told reporters here on Wednesday that Government had given away the Chandranna gift to 1.3 crore persons on the eve of Sankranti festival.He said that the government had handed over the 6-provision gift pack to all those having white ration cards in the state.Raghunatha Reddy objected to the YSRCP leveling allegations against the government on the Chandranna gift scheme saying criticising the scheme is tantamount to criticising the beneficiaries.
