Devi Sri Prasad on Bollywood projects; Drishyam-2, Circus in Rock Star's kitty

Hyderabad: Rock star Devi Sri Prasad is one of the top music directors of Tollywood. He gained worldwide popularity with Allu Arjun Pushpa's album. With this, Bollywood directors and producers started asking Devi Sri Prasad to provide music for their films.

Bollywood hero Salman Khan also liked Rock Star's tunes. So, he asked him to provide music for his upcoming film 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan'. Earlier, there were reports that Devi will provide the music for this film. But, rumours were rife that Rockstar had parted ways due to differences of opinion. Devi Sri Prasad responded to these rumors.

Currently, many composers are providing music for this movie. Devi Sri Prasad said that no one asked him to provide music for all the songs in ‘Kesi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ki Jaan’. "At the time of contacting me, the film team had some songs. But Farhad Samji narrated me entire script and asked me to compose the songs. I assumed that there is a lot of scope for many songs in the film when he was narrating the story. As the runtime increased, the number of songs was reduced. I was told the same thing. I composed a crazy song for Salman. The fans will like it,” said Devi Sri Prasad.

Currently, many music composers are working on this film. Ravi Basrur of KGF fame is providing the background score. Salman feels that the film should be a commercial entertainer. Therefore, it seems that there is no compromise in any aspect.

Telugu actors Venkatesh and Ram Charan are also acting in 'Kisi Ka Bhai, Kisi Ka Jaan'. Pooja Hegde plays a pivotal role. This movie will be released in theaters for Christmas. And when it comes to Devi Sri Prasad... he is providing music for Hindi 'Drishyam-2' and he is working as a music composer for Rohit Shetty’s 'Circus'. Projects like 'Pushpa-2', 'Bawal'  and Surya-42' are in the hands of Rockstar.
