Hyd: Rajnath Singh visits residence of Krishnam Raju, consoles kin & actor Prabhas
Hyderabad, September 16: Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Friday afternoon visited the residence of veteran Telugu actor and former Union Minister U. Krishnam Raju, who passed away at a private hospital here recently due to chronic illness. He consoled family members of Krishnam Raju and his nephew Prabhas.
Rajnath Singh will participate in a condolence meet to be held at Film Nagar on Friday evening to pay tributes to Krishnam Raju. He will return to Delhi at 4:20 pm. Union Minister Kishan Reddy and BJP Rajya Sabha member K. Laxman have accompanied Rajnath Singh.
Even Union Home Minister Amit Shah will reach Hyderabad on Friday evening. He will meet Prabhas and kin of Krishnam Raju and express his condolences over the demise of actor.
On Saturday, Shah will be participating in the Telangana Liberation Day celebrations and will address a public meeting at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad. Telangana BJP leaders are mobilising people to make meeting a grand success.
