Vikarabad: CM KCR inaugurates Collectorate, mocks BJP at public meeting

Vikarabad, August 16: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) inaugurated Integrated District Offices' Complex here on Tuesday evening. The Collectorate was constructed on 34 acres with a cost of Rs 60.70 crore. 
 
Addressing a public meeting, KCR said that the Collectorate would not have become possible in Vikarabad if separate state for Telangana was not achieved. He enlisted various welfare schemes being implemented by the TRS government. “Modi government at Centre did not do anything for Telangana in the last eight years,” he slammed and mentioned that the state is progressing on all fronts in the TRS rule.
 
The TRS chief made an appeal to people not to believe the BJP. On the occasion, KCR sanctioned a government medical college and government degree college to Vikarabad. Earlier, the CM opened TRS party office here and participated in special prayers. Ministers Sabitha Indra Reddy and Vemula Prashanth Reddy, TRS MP and MLAs were present.
