KTR raps Modi govt for scrapping ITIR Project sanctioned to Hyd

Hyderabad, July 30: Telangana Minister for IT and Industries K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) came down heavily on Modi government for scrapping Information Technology Investment Region (ITIR) Project sanctioned to Hyderabad in 2013. In this regard, Union Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar had made a statement in the Parliament.

KTR alleged that the ITIR Project cancelled as the TRS is opposing the BJP-led NDA government politically. “Rajeev Chandrasekhar blatantly lied that the Centre granted several projects to Telangana which are on par with ITIR,” he slammed.

The minister demanded Prime Minister Narendra Modi to give an explanation over the loss to Hyderabad in the last eight years because of cancelling ITIR Project. “Grave injustice was done to youth of Telangana by scrapping project,” he faulted and added that Hyderabad lost an opportunity to grow in IT sector. KTR further said that the BJP lacks proper policy to create jobs and skilling youth for job ready.
