Mumbai cops arrest miscreant who threatened Katrina Kaif, Vicky Kaushal
Mumbai: The police recently arrested a person who threatened Bollywood star couple Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal on social media platforms. The accused has been identified as Manvinder Singh. It was learned during the police investigation that he was also looking for opportunities in the film industry. He is a big fan of Katrina Kaif. He dreamed of marrying her. But last year he was disappointed when Katrina got married to Vicky Kaushal.
In this backdrop, he has been threatening to kill the couple on social media for the past few months. When the threats increased, the star couple approached the police. Based on their complaint, the police registered a case under Section 506(2), 354(d) of the IPC, Section 67 of the IT Act and arrested the suspect Manvinder Singh.
It is noteworthy that the accused has edited photos and videos of Katrina and other Bollywood heroines on his Instagram. In it, he edited the photos of both of them and shared a video as if he was married to Katrina.
He also posted a video saying, “Today it has been three months since our marriage.. My wife Katrina Kaif.” Moreover, he edited the photos of Katrina-Vicky as a couple so that his face was on Vicky's photos and also shared many similar videos and posts on social media.
Katrina and Vicky Kaushal, who has been in love for four years, were married last year. Currently, both of them are busy acting in movies. While Kat is playing the heroine in Salman Khan starrer Tiger-3 while Vicky is busy with ‘Govind Naam Mera’ and ‘Dunki’.
