Cricketer KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty to tie knot in next three months: Reports
Hyderabad: It seems that Team India's star opener KL Rahul is going to going to bid adieu to his bachelorhood. Rahul, who has been dating Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty for some time now, is reportedly going to tie the knot in three months.
It is rumored in Bollywood that Rahul's parents recently met Athiya's father Sunil Shetty to finalise the wedding. Atiya's close friends said that these two families together visited Rahul-Athiya's new home in Mumbai after the marriage was finalised to make the wedding arrangements there. They claim that Athiya herself is supervising all the wedding arrangements.
Meanwhile, it is known that Kannur Lokesh Rahul, who suffered an injury before the T20 series against South Africa, is currently away from the ongoing series between India and England. While Rahul is currently in Germany for treatment, girlfriend Athiya is also with him.
It is reported that it will take another month for Rahul to recover from his injury and till then Athiya will also stay with Rahul. At the premiere of Athiya's brother Ahan Shetty's debut film 'Tadap', Rahul and Athiya went public with their love affair for the first time. Rahul, who is in the race for the next captain of Team India, is the captain of Lucknow Super Giants in IPL. On the other hand, Sunil Shetty's daughter Athiya is busy with Bollywood movies.
