PM Modi arrives in Hyd to attend BJP national executive meeting

Hyderabad, July 2: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived here on Saturday to attend two-day BJP national executive meeting. His special flight landed at Begumpet airport where Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav and BJP leaders welcomed him.
 
Soon after the PM boarded a helicopter and left to Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), 15 km from here. He travelled in a convoy from helipad to HICC Novotel. After taking rest for 10 minutes, the PM will attend party’s national executive meeting which will discuss various political and social issues. 
 
The meet will also focus on strengthening the BJP and highlighting eight- year Modi rule among people. There is a possibility of national executive will take up discussion on bringing BJP to power in Telangana. Earlier, the SPG did a trial run from Begumpet airport to HICC for Modi to reach HICC through road in case weather turns rough.
