4 BJP corporators join TRS ahead of national executive meeting in Hyd
Hyderabad, July 1: As the BJP is getting ready for holding national executive meeting for two days here to strengthen the party in Telangana, the TRS gave a shock to saffron party by admitting their four BJP corporators from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) into its fold.
Jubilee Hills corporator A Venkatesh, Hasthinapuram corporator Banoth Sujatha Naik, Rajendranagar corporator Podavu Archana Prakash, and Adikmet corporator Sunita Prakash Goud have joined the TRS in the presence of party working president K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR). Along with them, Sindhuja, BJP floor leader in Tandur Municipal Corporation also joined the TRS.
According to reports, some more BJP corporators are ready to join the TRS in a day or two. The TRS government gave surprise to the Telangana BJP leaders by booking all billboards for highlighting social welfare schemes and development works. Even, flexis were installed in open places to showcase development in Telangana.
