Hyd: One killed as Benz car rams into divider at CCMB in Habsiguda

Hyderabad, June 27: One person killed on the spot and another sustained serious injuries when a Benz car in which they were travelling rammed into divider at Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) in Habsiguda on the intervening night of Sunday and Monday.
 
The deceased identified as Sohan Goud and injured Ritesh Reddy rushed to Gandhi Hospital. Later, he was shifted to Yashoda Hospital for better treatment. The mishap took place while they were returning home after attending a party at Jubilee Hills. The police registered a case and took up investigation.
 
According to reports, the car which is at high speed skidded off the road because of rain and hit the divider first and a sign board. Soon after the car rammed into divider, airbags opened but of no use. Impact was huge as car got damaged completely. However, the cops ruled out drunk and drive and said that overspeeding was the reason for accident.
