Gannavaram MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi admitted to hospital in Mohali

Mohali, June 22: MLA Vallabhaneni Vamsi admitted to a multispecialty hospital here on Tuesday after complaining of severe pain in left hand while attending online classes conducted by the Hyderabad-based Indian School of Business (ISB).

After conducting ECG and 2D echo tests on him, doctors said that his health condition is stable. Doctors informed family members that the MLA will be discharged from the hospital in a day or two.

Vamsi had secured admission in the Advanced Management Programme in Public Policy at ISB in 2021-22. As part of the course, he went to Mohali to attend third semester classes. He won as MLA from Gannavaram on TDP symbol in 2019 but revolted against the party alleging TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh tried to tarnish his image in public.

Since then, he is speaking in support of the ruling YSRCP government and criticising Leader of the Opposition N. Chandrababu Naidu and TDP leaders.
