Chalo Collectorate: Paritala Sunitha, Sriram argue with police for stopping vehicles

Sri Sathya Sai, June 13: The police stopped vehicles of former TDP minister Paritala Sunitha and his son Paritala Sriram at Ramagiri on Monday while they were proceeding to Puttaparthi to participate in a protest on issues of farmers as part of ‘Chalo Collectorate’ call given by the TDP.

Circle Inspector Chinna Gouse informed them that only two vehicles are allowed to go to Puttaparthi for participating in Chalo Collectorate. Sunitha told the CI that she took permission from the SP for submitting a memorandum to the Collector.

At this juncture, an argument broke between CI and Sunitha. She slammed police for not allowing to attend a peaceful protest. After some time, Sriram also expressed anger over CI. They alleged that the police are working on the directions of the YSRCP leaders.

The TDP leaders proceeded towards Puttaparthi with only two vehicles. The police are stopping vehicles of the TDP leaders in other parts of the district.
