Rajesh Exports to set up country's first Display Fab in Hyderabad with Rs 24,000 cr
Hyderabad: Rajesh Exports (Elest), a Fortune-500 company, will be setting up India's first Display FAB to manufacture the most advanced AMOLED displays with an investment of Rs 24,000 crore making it one of the largest investments in the high-tech manufacturing sector in India, disclosed Minister for IT and Municipal Administration
Rajeev Exports (Elest), one of the Fortune 500 companies, will set up a display fabrication manufacturing unit in Telangana. It is set to become the first unit in India in this sector. To this end, consultations were held with the Telangana government.
Minister KTR informed about the establishment of AMOLED display unit on his Twitter handle. He said I was happy that the rare feat that has hitherto been possible for Japan, Korea and Taiwan will be becoming a reality in India and that, too, in Telangana. With the arrival of this industry, the ecosystem required for the manufacture of TVs, tabs and smartphones will be manufactured in Telangana, he said.
