Man approaches HRC seeking protection from his parents' harassment

Hyderabad: A man approached the Telangana Human Rights Commission (HRC) on Monday seeking protection from his parents' harassment. Maale Srinivas hails from Ellampeta village in Mahabubabad district and was doing a software job in Hyderabad. He alleged that his parents, Maale Satyanarayana and Maale Satyavathi were harassing him by selling the properties in the village and demanding money from him again.

He said he had completed the MCA by taking a bank loan and was doing part-time job and paying installments. However, he said his parents not only sold their assets in their village, but also took loans. He said he had given Rs 22 lakhs in cash to clear debt and was being harassed by his parents to give him Rs 15 lakhs again. 

He said he was suffering from brain tuberculosis and asked the Human Rights Commission to take legal action against his parents, who were mentally abusing him. He also demanded action against the sarpanch of Ellampet and the Maripada police.
