Renuka Chowdhury vents ire at  police officer for not allowing her to meet Home Minister

Hyderabad: The gang-rape of a minor girl at the posh Jubilee Hills locality in Hyderabad has stirred up a hornet’s nest. Opposition parties, including Congress and BJP, took the TRS government to task for shielding the accused. The BJP leaders staged a protest in front of the Police Commisonerate demanding the police reveal the identity of the accused. They barged into the office and raised slogans demanding justice for the victim.

Meanwhile, senior Congress leader and former Union Minister Renuka Choudhury, who went to meet Home Minister Mahmood Ali in this regard, however, was stopped by the police. In turn, She vented ire at the police officer for not allowing her to meet the Home Minister.

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has posted a video of Renuka Chowdhury expressing her anger against the police officer on her Twitter handle. According to police, five accused have been identified and arrested. According to deputy commissioner of police (West Zone)  Joel Davis, one accused was arrested in Hyderabad on Friday and four were apprehended in Karnataka on Saturday.
