Vizag: Don’t worry about police cases, Chandrababu tells TDP workers

Visakhapatnam, May 5: TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu motivated the party leaders and workers not to be scared of false police cases filed by the YSRCP activists against them. “Even, cases were filed against me,” he said. Addressing the party functionaries here on Thursday, he vowed to make Andhra Pradesh corruption-free once the TDP comes to power.

Chandrababu faulted the ruling YSRCP government for burdening people with taxes and borrowing loans indiscriminately. “TDP leaders in every village should unite villagers and fight against atrocities of the YSRCP leaders,” he stated.

Earlier, the TDP chief held a meeting with MLC Buddha Venkanna, MLA Chinarajappa and former minister Kala Venkat Rao, and TDP leader Palla Srinivasa Rao and others. Chandrababu has discussed with them regarding present political situation in the combined Visakhapatnam district. The police placed several TDP leaders under house arrest to prevent them from taking part in 'Badude Badudu' programme.
