KTR challenges Bandi Sanjay to get Rs 1,000 crore from Centre for Karimnagar development

Rajanna Sircilla, May 5: Minister for IT, Industries and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao (KTR) threw a challenge to Telangana BJP president and MP Bandi Sanjay to get Rs 1,000 crore package for development for Karimnagar parliamentary constituency.

Addressing a public meeting after laying foundation stone for renovation works of government school under ‘Mana Ooru Mana Badi’ programme at Bandalingampally village in his native constituency, KTR faulted opposition for criticising the TRS government when rapid development is taking place in Telangana compared to other states. “KCR government will be spending Rs 7,300 crore in the next three years for renovation of 26,000 government schools,” he assured and demanded opposition to compete with the TRS in development.

The minister mentioned that Bandi Sanjay and Revanth Reddy would not have become Telangana BJP president and TPCC chief respectively if Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao did not achieve separate state for Telangana. Local TRS leaders and officials were present.
