Minister Talasani responds to Botsa’s ‘power cut in Hyd’ comment

Hyderabad, April 30: Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav on Saturday responded to ‘power cut in Hyderabad’ comment made by Andhra Pradesh Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana.

Talking to reporters, Talasani said that the AP ministers and YSRCP leaders have reacted to Telangana Minister K. Taraka Rama Rao’s remarks in a way as if they are countering the opposition TDP. He requested AP Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to know as to why his colleagues responded quickly to KTR’s remarks. “We feel happy if development is taking place in AP,” he mentioned.

The minister said that it is not right on part of Botsa to say that he experienced power cut at his residence in Hyderabad and switched on generator. He asked why political leaders of AP are organising functions in Hyderabad when there are power outages. “Business firms are investing in Hyderabad as the Telangana government is providing power supply without interruption and availability of basic amenities,” he added.
