Nara Lokesh condemns attack on RI Aravind, alleges Kodali Nani behind incident
TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh on Friday condemned the attack on RI Aravind. Some unidentified persons have assaulted the RI when he tried to stop illegal excavation and transportation of mud. He accused Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy of encouraging illegal activities in the state.
Lokesh asked the YSRCP government as to whether they can give guarantee for the lives of employees when they are in danger. “Now, the mafia had tried to run JCB over RI and soon they would also attack the police,” he mentioned. The TDP MLC alleged that former minister Kodali Nani’s followers are behind RI’s attack.
The TDP leader demanded that the state government should arrest the members of mud mafia and its leader. “The government should provide protection to officials and employees,” he asked. Earlier, the RI informed the media that he tried to stop the JCB by standing in front of it. “But, they attacked me and punched me on my face,” he added.
