Scuffle ensues between Cong groups in Revanth's presence in Warangal

Warangal:  Intraparty squabbles came to the fore in the Congress party in Warangal on Thursday. In the presence of Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Revanth Reddy, a scuffle ensued between the leaders of the party's Warangal unit. Clashes broke out between the Janga and Naini factions of the party. Activists from both groups have indulged in fisticuffs.
 
It is leanrt that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will be coming to Warangal on May 6. In that backdrop, Revanth Reddy inspected the premises of the Arts and Science College on Thursday, which was selected for Rahul Gandhi’s public meeting in which important party leaders also participate. 

On the occasion, a quarrel took place between the activists of Janga and Naini groups of Congress party in Warangal. Initially, a verbal duel took place between the members of the two groups and later, it turned into a fight. The infighting between the groups irked Revanth Reddy, who is striving to strengthen the party in the run-up to the next Assembly elections.
