Amit Shah assures justice to Sai Ganesh family

Khammam, April 20: Union Minister Amit Shah extended condolences to the family of BJP activist Sai Ganesh of Khammam district on Wednesday. He spoke with them over phone from Delhi and assured justice.

It should be noted here that Sai Ganesh attempted suicide on April 14, alleging that he took the extreme step as he was unable to bear police torture. Two days later, he died in a hospital.
Central Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar also would visit Khammam on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Telangana BJP leaders called for State-wide protests against the TRS leaders on Wednesday. They will be holding rallies with the demand to conduct CBI probe into the Sai Ganesh death.

BJP leaders appealed to Home Minister Amit Shah to take action against Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, who was accused of instigating cases against Sai Ganesh.

Along with Sai Ganesh incident, other two recent incidents – suicide of mother and son in Kamareddy district and a gang rape case, in which a TRS leader’s son was accused – have pushed the ruling TRS on the back foot.
