Can wait to act in movies but getting minister post is a life-time chance: Roja
After taking charge as Tourism Minister, R.K. Roja has visited the YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya in YSR district and paid tributes to former Chief Minister Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy. Speaking to the media, she said that YSR is the only Telugu politician adored by people. Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had launched the YSRCP based on YSR ideologies, she stated.
To a question, Roja said that she can wait till 90 years to act in movies once again but getting a minister post is a life-time opportunity. While saying she is happy with Tourism and Culture portfolio, “experience in handling unimportant portfolio will help to manage significant one,” she added.
Roja has assured to generate revenue for the state by taking various tourism initiatives. “Even though, I did not get a chance to work in the YSR Cabinet. Now, I got an opportunity to be a minister in his son’s Cabinet,” she mentioned.
