Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy refutes rumours, says not deserting TRS

Khammam: Rumour mills abuzz about former MP and TRS leader Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy may switch over his loyalties to other parties. Responding to the rumours, he said that there was no truth in it. Some people are spreading false rumours and posting fake news on social media to boost their image. He said he would stay in TRS forever.

He said people were laughing at snide remarks made by MP and BJP state unit president Bandi Sanjay against TRS. Reacting to the political slugfest that was going on between TRS and BJP over paddy procurement, he found fault with BJP MP’s statement.

He said TRS was the only party that was rendering justice to the farmers in all respects. The government was buying grains from farmers every year. Though the Central government denied buying parboiled rice leaving the farmers in the lurch, the State government came forward to buy every grain of farmers. This yet again proved that the party is committed to the development of farmers.

Furthermore, he said that Minister for IT and Municipal Administration KTR was coming to Khammam and he would arrange a meal for him at their residence. With this, he puts an end to the rumours of deserting TRS.
