Miscreants pelt stones at VH house, damages car

Hyderabad, April 14: Unidentified persons allegedly pelted stones at the house of Congress senior leader V Hanumantha Rao in the late hours of Wednesday. They damaged his car parked in front of the house in Ambarpet in Hyderabad.

Responding to the incident, VH said police should find out the people, who resorted to this. He questioned, “is it not the responsibility of the government to provide security to him, who is former PCC chief and former MP?” VH said that he always in the forefront to solve the problems of weaker sections.

He expressed anger that no action was taken till date even though he reported to the DGP about the threatening calls he received earlier. He demanded that the authorities must identify the miscreants, who damaged his car, and must take action on them.

Soon after receiving information about the incident, police reached the spot and inspected the car and house. Police said that they have registered a case and took up investigation.

Responding to the attack on VH house, TPCC president Revanth Reddy condemned the incident. He spoke with VH over phone and enquired the details.

Revanth demanded the police to identify the miscreants and take action against them. He asked the police to provide maximum protection to Congress leaders.
