Perpetual bride of Haryana held for marrying seven times in three months

Chandigarh: Police in Haryana arrested a perpetual bride. It has been revealed that she has been married seven times since January this year. It is learnt that she has targetting unmarried and divorced men. Rajender, a fourth husband, lodged a complaint with police. Based on his complaint, the police arrested the woman and her accomplices.

The woman was first married to Satish from Khedi Karam Shamli area. She got married for the second time in Rajasthan on January 1 this year, her third marriage on February 15, and her fourth marriage to a man named Rajender another six days apart, she got married for the fifth time to Gaurav from Kutana area.  She tied the nuptial with Sandeep from Karnataka for the sixth time and finally, enter into wedlock with Sumit from Budwa area on March 26 for the seventh time.

Police registered cases under various Sections against her. The police investigation revealed the modus operandi of the woman. Many men fell into her trap as she used to convince them saying that she was an orphan and nobody was there to look after her. Finally, she would bring them up to the wedding and she was supported by her gang members in cheating the men. On the first night, she used to drug her husbands and after they lose consciousness , she used to flee with money and jewellery
