Rajamouli reveals why he choose Jr NTR and Ram Charan for RRR
Hyderabad: RRR, directed by Rajamouli, is getting ready for release. Keeravani composed the music for the film, which was produced by DVV Danayya. The film starring Ram Charan and Jr NTR in the lead roles will be released on March 25. Rajamouli spoke about the film in a recent interview in this context.
When asked why did he choose Ram Charan to portray Alluri Seetharama Raju, he said, "Charan is like a saint. he can hide any emotion in himself. The same emotions were seen in Alluri. That’s why I took Charan in that role. While NTR looks innocent and does not control his anger and displays it immediately. Hence, I took him because he is close to the role of Komaram Bhim."
"NTR -Charan characters have equal priority. I did not treat those characters by giving one fight and one song to them, but those characters tell the story. I found it a bit difficult to balance emotions from the fans' point of view," he explained.
