Rakesh Tikait meeting KCR raises many eyebrows

New Delhi: Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) leader Rakesh Tikait meeting Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao, who is on a visit to Delhi, on Thursday,raised many eyebrows. 

Tikait also came to the KCR residence around the same time as BJP MP Subramanya Swamy on Thursday afternoon. KCR also had lunch with both of them on the occasion. After that Subramanya Swamy had a discussion with KCR and left. While Tikait held discussions with KCR for a long time. Their meeting reportedly lasted for about three hours.

During the meeting with KCR, Tikait clarified that they did not discuss politics. Later, speaking to the media, he said that he is a farmers' leader and had nothing to do with politics. He said the agricultural sector in the country was facing many problems and called on KCR for agro-alternative policies. 

He also said that he would meet the CMs of other states in the country on the same issue. During the meeting with KCR, Tikait reiterated that they did not discuss politics.
