AP govt allows 100 per cent occupancy in theatres from tomorrow

Vijaywada: The Andhra Pradesh government gives nod to hundred percent seating in cinema theatres across the State. The government has taken this decision to give a boost to the film industry.

Theatres have been given permission to hold film screenings with 100 per cent seating in the state from Friday. However, the government has advised the theatres to implement the Corona guidelines strictly. It made it clear that steps must be taken to ensure that audience wear masks.

The decision comes at a time when a series of big movies from Tollywood is set to release this summer. Pawan Kalyan 'Bhimla Nayak' and Varun Tej 'Gani' are coming out on February 25. And then, huge films like 'Sarkaru Vaari Pata', 'RRR', 'Radheshyam' are set for release to enthral the audience.
