Sharmila arrested for staging dharna in Hyderabad
Hyderabad: YSRTP president YS Sharmila, who launched a stir against the TRS government demanding the job notifications a few months ago, is continuing the struggle
As a part of it, she staged a dharna in front of the TSPSC office in Hyderabad on Tuesday and demanded that the vacant government jobs be filled immediately.
In this context, she submitted a petition to TSPSC Chairman B. Janardhan Reddy and demanded filling up of jobs and implementation of unemployment dole.
Later, she staged a dharna and raised slogans against Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and demanded his resignation for not providing employment to youth. On receiving information, the police rushed to the spot and arrested Sharmila. Later, they shifted her to a police station where she staged a dharna.
