Talasani accosts Chandrababu on inducting defectors in his cabinet

Hyderabad, April.3: Telangana Minister for Animal Husbandry & Fisheries Talasani Srinivas Yadav today criticized Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for offering ministerial posts to four YSRCP MLAs, who defected to his Telugu Desam party.

Reacting strongly on the cabinet rejig by Chandrababu Naidu at Velagapudi, Yadav ridiculed that Chandrababu should explain as to why he offered minister posts to the defectors. He flayed Naidu for adopting dual standards on defections which he pretends to oppose. The minister suggested that words such as honesty, veracity and fire are not suitable for Chandrababu. It is better for Telugu Desam chief to abstain from uttering such words as the people know about him and his political career, Srinivas Yadav said.

Talasani also threw a challenge that he would resign to his post if the four defected MLAs also resign to their posts. The minister took serious exception to Naidu for stating that Telugu Desam was the most disciplined party whether in power or not. Discipline in Telugu Desam party has gone with its founder and former Chief Minister N T Rama Rao, he charged. Chandrababu, who criticized him and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao when he switched loyalties has done the same thing what he opposed earlier, he said. Telugu Desam leaders and activists are not happy with Chandrababu after the Cabinet rejig while Social Media is coming out against the TD Chief, he said. The minister predicted that Telugu Desam will get poor results in 2019 general elections.
