Nag gives nod for multi-starrers in Telugu

Nagarjuna, though attained 57 years, appears quite young and he even gives tough competition, to several young artistes with his films. No one could dare to release his film on the day of any of Nagarjuna’s movies. He used to choose subjects which are not monotonous or stereotype characters.
Last year he had released ‘Soggade Chinni Nayana’ and also ‘Oopiri’, both are big hits. After doing such commercial hits, he chose to play in a devotional movie directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Many of the audiences found fault with him for doing such film which was devoid of any commercial elements. But he lived in the character of Hathiram Baba and the film had hit the screens today.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagarjuna said that he is ready to share screen with any of his co-stars whether seniors or juniors. However, he has the opinion that the story should be balanced and both the characters should have equal importance. The other character should not be degraded in the film as that artiste too will have fans and they may get offended. Nag is of the opinion that several young directors/writers are coming up with several innovative ideas. He expressed his wish to share the screen with his contemporaries. It may be mentioned here that Balakrishna is planning a biopic on his father and many of the audiences are of the opinion that Nag should share the screen in his father’s role.
