Go to Delhi & fight, PCC chief tells Chandrababu

It is the Chief Minister Chadnrababu Naidu's responsibility to ensure that there is voting on the Private Member Bill of KVP Ramachandra Rao in the Rajya Sabha on February 5 (Friday), according to PCC president M. Raghuveera Reddy. Speaking at a meeting organised by the Congress Party in Vijayawada on Monday, Raghuveera vowed to sweep the road in front of the houses of Central ministers, Venkaiah Naidu, Sujana Chowdary and Ashok Gajapati Raju if the demand was conceded by the Centre. At the same time, he warned that the people would drive out the TDP and BJP leaders if the demand was rejected once again by the Centre. He said in this regard that the TDP leaders were only fooling the people by remaining in alliance with the BJP. He taunted that the Chief Minister would not go to Delhi now, and he would only send his Central ministers to talk to the Delhi leadership. Then why are you holding the Chief Minister's position, he asked Babu. Why is Chandrababu not going to Delhi now, he asked. Do the State benefits mean nothing to him? He pointed out that when the Congress staged a walk-out in the Rajya Sabha, the TDP members could not ask simple questions of the government. It was all the more Chandrababu's responsibility to fight for the status now, he added. He regretted that instead the TDP leaders were trying to blame the Congess.
